“Don’t give your customers a product; give them an experience” – Anonymous
Most entrepreneurs strive to make a good product.
They invest considerable amount of money and time into branding and packaging the product, which is good. It is however imperative that entrepreneurs invest more in the contents of the product itself in order to give customers an unforgettable experience.
You know how customers feel about your product through the feedback you receive from them. For instance, if you are a fashion designer, how do your clients feel when they wear your clothes? If you are a caterer, what special ingredient do your dishes contain that would make your customers keep coming back?
According to Amit Kalantri in Wealth of Words, “making a product is just an activity; making a profit on a product is the achievement.”
It is only when you give your product that special oomph that you will earn that extra profit.
In this edition we interview Ed Obi Wilson, a fashion designer.
He tells us his experience and challenges; and how he chalked his successes.
We also have fun facts about various African countries and stories from various entrepreneurs.
